Ronnefeld.
Entering the Future
Composer, conductor, pianist – Peter Ronnefeld (1935–65) personified one of the greatest hopes for classical and contemporary music in Germany after the Second World War. The stations of his short life pointed to a phenomenal future, and the names of his companions read like a Who’s Who of music. He made music with Nikolaus Harnoncourt; Herbert von Karajan supported him; he was friends with Thomas Bernhard and Aribert Reimann. A documentary by Christian Reichart and Eleni Ampelakiotou, with Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Aribert Reimann, et al.
