Kito Lorenc: It Was Not the Time
His poetry is unmistakable. Kito Lorenc (1938-2017), who wrote in Sorbian and German, was connected to both cultures. Ambiguity, breaks and linguistic wit characterise his extensive œuvre, which originated at the foot of the Czorneboh mountain in Lusatia.
Karin Großmann talks to Róža Domašcyna, Michael Krüger and Gabriele Radecke about Kito Lorenc's archive and the latest volume of poetry from his estate. Kerstin Hensel introduces his work.
