Ulrich Gerhardt. From Radio Play to Radio Art
Archive Opening
Ulrich Gerhardt has been creating radio art for over 50 years. His innovative and richly experimental productions have significantly influenced German radio drama. Yet even aside from his own works, he has always enthusiastically supported this art form. For the archive opening, an extract is played from his production Übergang über die Beresina (BR 1993). Afterwards, Ulrich Gerhardt joins Hermann Bohlen and Oliver Sturm to discuss the fascination of radio art, and the radio play’s development and present state.
