Williams Chima is a Nigerian environmental/human rights lawyer and campaigns nationally and internationally for globally enforceable environmental and human rights standards for all business operators to ensure respect for the rights of indigenous communities. He is currently involved in the cases of Nigerian farmers and fishers vs. Shell and King of Ikebiri Community vs. NAOC-ENI concerning environmental disasters in his community. He is Head of Legal Resources, Environmental Rights Action and President of Green Alliance Nigeria – a network of Nigerian NGOs with an environmental focus.
