Christophe Marchand

Christophe Marchand is a founder and partner in the law firm Jus Cogens and a member of the Brussel's Bar (1996). He specialized in (international) criminal law and has an extensive experience in extradition cases or the defense of persons accused of terrorism. He has litigated several groundbreaking cases before the European Court of Human Rights and United Nations treaty bodies, including on issues of counterterrorism and torture and is associate Researcher at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Fundamental Rights and Constitutionalism). He is currently litigating for the family of Patrice LUMUMBA, Julian ASSANGE or the Catalan Government in exile.
